It's official - 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo has been censored 'U/A' by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The upcoming film's director Lokesh Kanagaraj took to X on Wednesday, October 4, and shared the big news along with a special new poster of a metal animal foothold trap carrying the 'U/A' censor certification announcement. This latest update from Lokesh Kanagaraj has come a day before the highly-anticipated Leo trailer scheduled to release on the Sun TV YouTube channel, with the excitement among Vijay's fans once again shooting up.

The Leo censor poster shared by Lokesh Kanagaraj is yet another hint of a plot element and is a subtle callback to the animal trap that was featured in the film's promo released back in February. In the Leo Bloody Sweet promo, there's a moment when we see a snake slither toward Vijay, who is shown to be forging a sword from molten metal before the reptile's head is chopped off in the animal foothold trap. The promotions for Leo have so far been on point and this latest poster filled with a major detail has once again gotten fans hyped up about the film ahead of the trailer release tomorrow.

With Leo billed to be a gangster action drama, there is a lot that the fans are looking forward to witnessing in the film's trailer including Vijay as Leo Das battling it out with Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt, who is cast as the antagonist Antony Das and 'Action King' Arjun as a character named Harold Das. Trisha Krishnan is the female lead in the film, which will also feature Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Priya Anand, and Mathew Thomas, among others, with the songs and background score composed by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander.
