If latest reports are to be believed, Thalapathy Vijay and actor Karthi met each other, earlier this morning (July 18), during the shoot of their respective projects. The shooting for Vijay's Beast is progressing at Gokulam Studios in Chennai and this is the second schedule shoot. On the other hand, the new schedule of Karthi's Sardar began this week and the shoot is happening on a different floor at the same Gokulam Studios. Having said that, Vijay and Karthi took their time off from their shootings and greeted each other, thereby spending a good time. It is said that Vijay could not initially recognize Karthi as he was dressed in an aged/rugged makeover for his character in Sardar.
It is said that both the star heroes had a nice chat for a few minutes. Ever since this news came out, the fans have been waiting for a picture from their meeting. However, considering the fact that Karthi was in his look for Sardar, we may not see any picture. Talking about Beast, the film is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila and Doctor fame and has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Produced by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures, Beast features Pooja Hegde as the female lead, while Shine Tom Chacko, Aparna Das, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh play supporting roles. Beast is touted to be a stylish action entertainer and the film is tentatively scheduled to release in theatres for the next year's Pongal festival.
On the other hand, Sardar is Karthi's next film which is directed by PS Mithran of Irumbu Thirai and Hero fame. Sardar is said to be a very intriguing action thriller that will have a strong content as well. The film is said to showcase Karthi in a different dimension. Sardar features three female leads in the form of Raashi Khanna, Karnan fame Rajisha Vijayan, and Simran. Produced by S Lakshman Kumar under the banner of Prince Pictures, Sardar has music composed by GV Prakash and cinematography handled by George C Williams.
