Superstar title controversy parthiban poem about rajinikanth - Tamil Movie Cinema News

Earlier today, In remembrance of the late superstar Thiyagaraja Bhagavathar, Parthiban shared his picture and mentioned him as 'the first superstar' who got backlash from superstar Rajinikanth fans. He then posted a screenshot of a google search "First superstar of Tamil cinema" in which the results show the name M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar. In the tweet, R Parthiban recalled his experience of traveling in a car with Superstar Rajinikanth and shared the delightful memory as a poem. He wrote that he composed this poem when he was dropped off from the car by Rajinikanth. The poem can be roughly translated as, "Anyone would look like a dot when they move away, but you still look larger than life." He further goes on to explain, "The bond we share is truly remarkable. On the anniversary of someone's passing, I only intended to honor their memory. However, some individuals are using derogatory language and creating a sense of contradiction between him and his fans, which is concerning. Instead, we should emulate the superstar's humble nature, which never causes harm even to his enemies."

Parthiban, who recently appeared in Mani Ratnam's PS:1 alongside popular actors like Karthi, Jayam Ravi, and Vikram, is set to appear in the sequel of the movie. He will also be seen as a villain in the highly anticipated Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial film Dhruva Natchathiram, which stars Vikram.

Apart from his acting career, Parthiban has also made a name for himself as a director. Following the success of his critically acclaimed film Otha Seruppu Size 7, Parthiban directed a non-linear single-shot film titled Iravin Nizhal. The film received praise from critics for its innovative storytelling. In a recent announcement, Parthiban revealed that he will be directing a new film titled 52am Pakkathil Oru Mayiliragu. Details about the film are yet to be revealed, but fans are eagerly awaiting its release.
