The posters feature actors Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth, who will be playing the lead roles in the film. The posters also reveal that Superstar Rajinikanth will be doing a cameo appearance in the movie. Lyca Productions, one of the leading production houses in the Indian film industry, is producing Lal Salaam. Srikanth, (a.k.a) Sriram, is an Indian actor who has primarily worked in Tamil and Telugu films. He made his debut in K. Balachander's television serial Jannal - Marabu Kavithaigal in 1999 and later ventured into films with the 2002 romantic movie Roja Kootam. Srikanth went on to feature in several other films, including April Maadhathil, Parthiban Kanavu, and Okariki Okaru. He is particularly noted for his performance in the Vijay-starrer Nanban, which was the Tamil remake of the hit Bollywood film 3 Idiots, directed by S. Shankar.
