She Official Trailer | A Netflix Original Series | Aditi Pohankar, Vijay Varma

The worldwide media-services provider and production company, Netflix, is green-lighting and releasing new films and web series and shows that cater to different genres and different age groups. India has been a major player for Netflix with more new content being conceived and the upcoming Netflix Original series, She, written by Love Aaj Kal director Imtiaz Ali too is one among the many that has generated a lot of curiosity.

She is a crime thriller drama and stars Aditi Pohankar as Bhumika Pardesi, a senior constable at the Reay Road Police in Mumbai with Vijay Varma of Gully Boy fame playing the role of a thief. A joint collaboration between Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Tipping Point, and Imtiaz Ali, an action-packed and intense trailer for She has now been released and is centered around Vijay Varma's character, who is caught by the police while on the hunt for the narcotics dealer, Sasya.

In a twist of events, Vijay Varma, upon interrogation reveals he will only answer to Aditi Pohankar, who went undercover as a sex worker to nab him. The next footage in the trailer shows us the extent to which Aditi Pohankar's character will go to carry on with the drug busts as well as her showing her psychological state while also shedding light on the drug underworld with the show set to begin streaming on Netflix from March 20. Netflix has also released an official synopsis for She which is as follows: "An undercover assignment to expose a drug ring becomes a timid Mumbai constable's road to empowerment as she realizes her dormant sexuality's potential."
