It's official - the highly-anticipated Jawan trailer has been certified 'U/A' by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on Friday, July 7. The trailer for the upcoming film starring 'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan and directed by blockbuster Tamil director Atlee will have a duration of two minutes and fifteen seconds, the censor board's website has revealed. This is the first big official update about Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan trailer and fans will now be looking forward to an announcement regarding its release date up next.

Jawan is scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on September 7 after being postponed from its initial June 2 release plan due to post-production works. A while back, Shah Rukh Khan during an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Twitter revealed that the film will include "lots of action" and will be his second outing in the genre this year after the box-office money-spinner Pathaan released in January. Despite not much being known about Jawan apart from the visuals shown in the title teaser released last year, the buzz surrounding the film has been massive and we can expect the euphoria to explode after the announcement of the trailer date up ahead.
Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan marks Atlee's directorial debut in Bollywood and the filmmaker who has delivered three smash hits with 'Thalapathy' Vijay in Tamil - Theri (2016), Mersal (2017), and Bigil (2019) - will be looking to come out with all guns blazing. Releasing as a grand venture in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages, the film produced under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner is also going to be a launchpad for 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara in Hindi cinema along with 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer GK Vishnu and editor Ruben, and the team will be aiming for the bullseye. Shah Rukh Khan will also be joined by Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, who is playing the antagonist in Jawan after impressing Hindi audiences with his performance in the hit Farzi web series on Amazon Prime Video and Mumbaikar, the remake of the Tamil film Maanagaram.
