Very recently, there were rumours on social media that said that actress and politician Vindhya passed away due to a cardiac arrest. The news spread rapidly on WhatsApp and it created a sense of confusion among the people of Tamil Nadu. Though it was found to be a fakely designed poster, it went viral on social media. Vindhya has now reacted to her death rumours and has given a striking reply to the haters.

Sharing the fake death posters, Vindhyaa wrote on her official Twitter page, "உலகத்துலயே தன்னோட கண்ணீர் அஞ்சலி போஸ்டர பாத்து தானே சிரிக்குற பாக்கியம் கிடைச்சவங்கள்ல நானும் ஒருத்தி. ஸ்டாலினுக்கு வருங்கால முதல்வரேனு போஸ்டர் போட்டு அலுத்து போயிட்டாங்க போல. இந்தமாறி போஸ்டர் பார்த்தா ஆயுசு கூடுமாம். ஆண்டவனை தவிர எனக்கு என்ட் கார்டு போட எவனாலயும் முடியாது ராசா.".

Vindhya's reply tweet has been garnering the attention of the netizens. Vindhya is not the first celebrity to be a victim of these fake death posters and we have seen it happen for a lot more people in the past. Vindhya is currently a part of the AIADMK party and she is an active member. Vindhya is known for campaigning against DMK Party and Stalin during the 2011 and 2016 State Assembly Elections. Vindhya started her career as an actor with the Tamil film, Sangamam, in which she played the female lead. Vindhya received highly positive reviews from the audience for her performance in the film.

Rahman and Manivannan's performances, along with A.R.Rahman's wonderful songs, turned out to be the major highlights of Sangamam.
