Samantha was last seen in Jaanu, the Telugu remake of 96 and her performance in the film received good reviews. In Tamil, Samantha’s last release was the critically acclaimed Super Deluxe, directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja. Samantha’s character and performance as Vaembu was absolutely brilliant and people even called it as one of her career best performances. Up next, she would be seen playing one of the female leads in Vignesh Shivan’s next directorial - Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal which stars Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara as the other leads. The shooting of the film is touted to begin towards the end of this year when things get back to normalcy. The Kaththi actress will also be making her digital debut through the Hindi web series, The Family Man - Season 2, in which she’d be seen playing a character with negative shades. Samantha is completely excited about that project and the fans can expect to see a different dimension of Samantha in that series.

A - My tattoo means create your own reality. Chay and me got this together - it’s really special for both of us.

Q - Cooking or Farming?!
A - Farming right now. Everything about farming. Even today, wiping the leaves with milk, everything is special.

Q - Ur height? Please please please tell I want to know very eagerly
A - Height, I am barely 5.3. Great things come in small packages.

Q - You are pregnant?
A - I've been pregnant since 2017 I think. This baby really doesn't want to come out.

Q - Best thing you did in quarantine?
Using this time to work on something special and I can't wait to share it with you guys.
