'Rathnam': Vishal Wraps Up Shooting Hari Film, Announces First Single Release Plans - Feast Loading For Action Lovers - Tamil Movie Cinema News

Leading Tamil actor Vishal has wrapped up filming for his portions in his next big film, Rathnam, under blockbuster filmmaker Hari's direction. The Mark Antony star revealed the news on X on Tuesday, January 23, in a lengthy post sharing his delight to have collaborated with Hari for the third time after Thamirabharani (2007) and Poojai (2014) and cinematographer Sukumar. Sharing that production on Rathnam had taken place in several major locations across Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, Vishal also dropped a big update informing fans that the film's first single is getting ready for its release soon, while stating that it will be a feast for action lovers. 

Posting a picture of himself with Hari and Sukumar, Vishal wrote, "Yes yes yes. Done with entire shoot of #Rathnam. Was an absolute pleasure to work with Dir Hari sir for the third time, with darling DOP @mynnasukumar and the entire unit. Always a memory for life working in such a positive atmosphere all through the shoot right from Tuticorin, Trichy, Karaikudi, Vellore, Tirupathi, Chennai. All thanks to producer @stonebenchers  Karthik and team." He added, "Well well well, now time to unleash darling DSP’s supa exciting single track damn soon. Gonna be a feast for all you action lovers." Vishal's statement further read, "MAY this family entertainer bring in more joy and happiness while enduring this cinematic experience on screen. MAY this be a summer treat. MAY the release date announcement be soon.  :) :) Thank u god.  God bless." 

Rathnam is billed to be an out-and-out high-octane action entertainer and the inclusion of stunt choreographers Kanal Kannan, Dhilip Subbarayan, and Peter Hein shows the team is going full out in making it an explosive outing for the audience in cinemas. The upcoming film will see Vishal paired with Priya Bhavani Shankar, who is working in a Hari directorial for the second time after Yaanai (2022), while Gautham Menon, Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, among others have been cast in pivotal roles.
