Was Vijay's Ghilli, the first film Rashmika got to see in theatres? Fans confused!
Of late, actors have been actively interacting with fans to kill time during this quarantine period. Having said that, Rashmika Mandanna engaged her fans with a live chat session on Twitter and during the session, she answered various interesting questions. While one of her fans asked if she remembers the first film that she happened to see in theatre, she replied saying it was Gilli. Yes, according to her memory, Gilli was the first film that she saw in theatres.
She tweeted, "Gilli I think. My dad took me. 🐒 I don’t know you should ask him- He was a hugggeee movie buff back in the day. Now when I am an actor he’s not. 🙄😒". This reply has gone viral among Vijay fans on Twitter. However, it is not clear if she intended Vijay’s Tamil film Ghilli or the Kannada film Gilli, that released in 2009. The fans also seem to be quite confused. Which Gilli it is? Only, Rashmika can give clarity to the answer.
On the professional front, Rashmika has quite a few interesting projects in her lineup. She will be seen as the female lead in Allu Arjun's next biggie, Pushpa, directed by Sukumar. Rashmika is also looking forward to her Tamil debut, which will happen with Karthi's Sultan (tentative), directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan of Remo fame and produced by S.R.Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures.
