Popular actor 'Thalapathy' Vijay recently organised an event to honour 10th and 12th public exam toppers from each constituency in the state. He organised the event through All India Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam and it has become the topic of discussion. Ramesh Khanna is a popular actor who has acted in many films with Vijay. Galatta Media did an exclusive interview with the actor/comedian and he shared his perspective on the recent events. As the interviewer asked if it looks like Vijay will enter politics, the actor said “If Vijay enters politics, I will join him…”.

When asked if the recent moves of actor Vijay can be linked with his political entry, The actor Ramesh Khanna said “Surely, there are chances that he could enter politics." He further said many a times public figures will have that thought that they should do something for the public, after earning and achieving many things. "Now, Vijay has got that thought and it is only for good.” The actor further went on to say that 'Thalapathy' Vijay spoke about politics when they worked together but actor Ajith Kumar would not talk about Politics much.
The recent event of ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay honouring students has been the topic of the discussion among fans and movie buffs. Many celebrities reacted to the star’s speech during the event including director Vetri Maaran, Seenu Ramasamy, actor Sathyaraj, Sarath Kumar, etc. It has also sparked speculations that it could be a base for the actor to join politics in the next Tamil Nadu assembly elections. In this recent interview actor Ramesh Khaana, who has worked with Vijay in hit films like Friends, has said the same and he has also said he will join actor if he joins politics.
