Nivin Pauly's most awaited film, Thuramukham is marching towards its release and the makers are hoping to release the film in the theatres once the Covid 19 situation comes under control. Thuramukham is directed by acclaimed cinematographer turned director, Rajeev Ravi and features Nimisha Sajayan as the female lead. Joju George, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sudev Nair, Poornima Indrajith, Arjun Asokan, Darshana Rajendran, Senthil Krishna, Shiva Raaj, Manikandan R Achari, and others will be seen playing crucial roles in the film. The makers have now unveiled the official teaser of the film which looks highly promising and intense.

The teaser prepares you for an immersive ride and director Rajeev Ravi seems to have treated the film in an intriguing manner. The teaser grabs your attention right from the first frame and it tells you that Thuramukham is going to be a film that will leave you with an impact. Director Rajeev Ravi has made good use of Nivin Pauly's expressive eyes and the close-up shots capture his (Nivin's character) anger neatly. From what we see, it looks like Nivin Pauly plays a rebellious character who doesn't fear anyone.

Through this short teaser, we get to see a glimpse of other actors, as well. Thuramukham is a period action drama set in the backdrop of 1923 and 1957 and the film deals with the problems and conflicts that happened in the harbour during the said time period. Produced by Sukumar Thekkepat under the banner of Thekkepat Films, this film has music scored by K (of Mugamoodi fame). Additional songs have been composed by Shahabaz Aman. Apart from directing the film, Rajeev Ravi has also handled the cinematography and his work is surely one of the highlights of Thuramukham's teaser. B Ajith Kumar has handled the film's editing.

Thuramukham is based on the play of the same name (Thuramukham), written by KN Chidambaran. The film's story, screenplay, and dialogues have been written by Gopan Chidambaran, son of KM Chidambaran. The new release plans of Thuramukham is yet to be known and we will have to wait for a few more weeks to get better clarity on that.
