Bigg Boss 5 Tamil which started on October 3, will complete its first week today (October 9) and the fans are eagerly waiting to witness tonight's episode. The show kickstarted with 18 contestants who were sent inside the house and the names include VJ Priyanka, Isaivani, Abishek Raaja, Raju Jeyamohan, Akshara Reddy, Namitha Marimuthu, Suruthi, Varun, Ciby Chandran, Niroop Nandakumar, Abhinay Vaddi, Imman Annachi, Pavani Reddy, Thamarai Selvi, Nadia Chang, Madhumitha, Iykki Berry, and Chinna Ponnu. A few hours before, the makers released the first promo for tonight's episode and the promo has grabbed the attention of the fans.
The promo also has an easter egg which has now made everyone curious. In a wide shot that shows all the contestants seated on the sofa, we get to see only 17 contestants and that tells us that one of them is missing. Following that, reports have now emerged stating that Namitha Marimuthu has walked out of the show due to various undisclosed reasons. It is said that Namitha expressed to walk out of the show for personal reasons and the news has already created a stir on social media. It can be noted that Namitha touched the audience's hearts with her emotional story of transforming into a woman and her story was one of the major highlights of the first week.
Namitha Marimuthu, who is known for acting in Samuthirakani's Naadodigal, is the first ever transgender who entered the Bigg Boss Tamil house as a contestant and she garnered good attention with her limited stay inside the house. Tonight's episode will feature Namitha's walkout portion and let us wait for the official telecast of the same. This incident has opened to a mixed response from the fans on social media and her exit will now leave 17 contestants inside the house. Among the 17, one of them will be evicted next weekend.
