With the current outbreak of Corona virus, the entire nation is on a lockdown and the Government, along with the help of the medical department, is taking all necessary measures to control and prevent the virus from spreading among people. To fight the pandemic financially, leading actors, directors and producers from the South Indian film industry have been donating money from their own pockets. From the musical department, two young rockstars have now come forward with their respective donations.


Music composer Anirudh Ravichander has donated an amount of Rs 2 Lakhs for the welfare of the FEFSI workers. Similarly, music director Thaman, who recently delivered a blockbuster album through Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, has made a donation of Rs 5 Lakhs for the musicians in Chennai and Hyderabad, through Cine Musicians Unions Chennai and Cine Musicians Union Hyderabad respectively.
