There's no stopping the box rampage of the Malayalam film, Manjummel Boys, which is setting new records with each passing day. The survival thriller film directed by Chidambaram S. Poduval of Jan. E. Man (2021) fame is witnessing a phenomenal audience turnout in cinemas and has now entered the 100 crore club in two weeks since its release. Apart from Manjummel Boys turning out to be a success in Kerala, the film has also been receiving a stellar response in theatres across Tamil Nadu and is now officially the first Malayalam film to cross 10 crores at the box office in the state. 

Expressing his joy over the terrific feedback to Manjummel Boys, director Chidambaram took to X to share his excitement at the box office results, while also extending his gratitude for the huge support coming his way, including the Tamil audience for appreciating the film. He wrote on X, "#ManjummelBoys 100cr Surprise Unconditional Love Thanks All Audience Support But Special Thank Tamil Audience🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤" (sic) The official Instagram page of Manjummel Boys has also shared a poster of the film's box office results in Tamil Nadu, while announcing that the film is also the first ever Malayalam venture to be getting more than 1200 shows in a day in theatres across the state.

The team of Manjummel Boys, which had several references of the Tamil cult classic, Gunaa (1991), met 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan and director Santhana Bharathi last week and shared their experiences shooting their respective films. Pictures and videos from their meeting took social media by storm, with a section of fans now expressing their wish for the re-release of Gunaa. Manjummel Boys stars Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi S. Poduval, Lal Jr., Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Arun Kurian, Khalid Rahman, among others and is seeing a demand for tickets in cinemas across Tamil Nadu even on the weekdays.
