The hot and happening actress, Malavika Mohanan was recently seen in Thalapathy Vijay's Master and she played the female lead in the film. Malavika was seen in the role of 'Charulatha Prasad', a college teacher and she got a pretty good screen presence in the film. The core conflict of Master arises only because of her character and she managed to portray the character well. At the same time, there were also several memes about her character and surprisingly, she took it sportively and shared those memes on her Twitter page. Up next, she will be seen in Dhanush's upcoming action drama, D 43, directed by Karthick Naren of Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru and Mafia fame.

Produced by TG Thyagarajan's Sathya Jyothi Films, the film has music scored by GV Prakash Kumar. Malavika plays the female lead in the film and the fans are eagerly looking forward to the fresh pairing of Dhanush and Malavika. The first schedule of the movie was recently wrapped up in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, Malavika's new film has been officially announced and this one is going to be in Hindi. Yes! Malavika Mohanan has been signed to play the female lead in the upcoming Hindi film titled Yudhra that stars Siddhant Chaturvedi as the main protagonist. Siddhant rose to fame after his impressive performance in the critically acclaimed blockbuster hit, Gully Boy, directed by Zoya Akhtar. Alongside Siddhant and Malavika Mohanan, actor Raghav Juyal will also be a part of the star cast. The film is directed by Ravi Udyawar who had earlier directed Sridevi's 300th film, Mom. The film's story is penned by actor Farhan Akhtar and Shridhar Raghavan, while the dialogues have been penned by Farhan and Akshat Ghildial.

Yudhra is scheduled to have a grand release in theatres during the summer of next year. The film was officially announced this morning (February 15) with a special teaser video which has garnered wide attention among the fans. The video showcases the lead cast, Siddhant, and Malavika Mohanan, escaping from a series of gunshots and fires and the promo looks super stylish. This promo gives us a glimpse of how the film is going to be treated and it looks like an intense action drama is in the making.
