Leading Tamil film producer SR Prabhu announced his next big film titled Irugapatru under his Potential Studios banner back in January. The upcoming film will include a talented star cast featuring the likes of Vikram Prabhu, Shraddha Srinath, Vidaarth, Abarnathi, Sree, and Saniya Iyyapan in the lead roles, and is being directed by Yuvaraj Dhayalan, who is known for his previous ventures Tenaliraman, Potta Potti and Eli, with music composed by Justin Prabhakaran. Potential Studios, which had previously made critically-acclaimed hit films like Nayanthara's Maya, Lokesh Kanagaraj's directorial debut Maanagaram, SJ Suryah's Monster, and the Vikram Prabhu-starrer cop drama Taanakkaran, has now announced that it is hosting a social experiment to witness the social structure between married couples for Irugapatru.
Taking to their social media handles, Potential Studios announced that it is "producing a film which speaks about married relationships." The production house added, "Not just stopping there; we want to impact society and bring out positive changes in people. We are initiating a social experiment and converting it into a film." The producer of Irugapatru has also invited couples who are married anywhere between 1-10 years to join the event in Chennai on June 17, while also mentioning the benefits and the perks that the couples will gain by participating in the event.
Sharing the event venue and the contact details, Potential Studios stated that by participating in the Irugapatru event, couples will get a better understanding of themselves, while also having their relationship strengthened. They added that this is a never-again opportunity and invited them to be a part of a social change. Revealing the perks of being part of the social experiment, Potential Studios has said that the couples taking part will get a chance to appear in their social experiment, while also informing that a chance will be given to be seen in their film along with two tickets to the premiere show and dine-out coupons for two. This latest announcement by the Irugapatru team will no doubt bring in a wider audience and has already created a big intrigue among fans.
