National Award-winning Tamil actress Keerthy Suresh was named the goodwill brand ambassador of women's cricket in Kerala on Wednesday, November 22. The popular South Indian star also inaugurated the ticket sales for the upcoming India vs Australia T-20I match to be held in Thiruvananthapuram on November 26. On Thursday, November 23, Keerthy Suresh expressed her joy at representing the Kerala Women's Cricket team on social media along with pictures from the inauguration ceremony held yesterday, while also sharing about the discussion she got to have with Kerala's first female cricketer, Minnu Mani

Keerthy Suresh wrote on Instagram, "It was an utmost pleasure to have met these talented and energetic individuals, the future of Women’s Cricket ❤️ Got to chat with Minnu Mani, one of Kerala’s pride 🤗 Happy to have inaugurated the ticket sales for the upcoming India vs Australia T-20I and extremely Honoured to be associated as the Goodwill ambassador for the Kerala Cricket Association 🏏#womencricket #keralacricketassociation" (sic) Keerthy Suresh being named as the brand ambassador the Kerala Cricket Association's (KCA) makes it the first occasion for its team, with the actress also sharing high praise for Minnu Mani, who is the sole player representing the state in the national team. On the work front, Keerthy Suresh is currently attached to several promising projects that are in various stages of development starting with Jayam Ravi's Siren. The upcoming Tamil action drama is scheduled to come out in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages this December, and will showcase the actress in the role of a police officer, with an intense teaser released earlier this month garnering strong feedback from fans. Keerthy Suresh is also headlining films titled Raghu Thatha and Revolver Rita, while also leading the cast in Kannivedi, which was launched after a grand formal pooja ceremony back in July.
