The wait has come to an end for two-time National Award-winning Tamil actor Dhanush's fans everywhere as the much-awaited 'Killer Killer' song video from the highly-anticipated Captain Miller directed by Arun Matheswaran has now been released. The team of the period action film dropped the track composed by National Award-winning composer G. V. Prakash Kumar featuring vocals by Dhanush on Wednesday, November 22, and is a highly energetic number having all the potential to reach the top of the charts in quick time. With lyrics penned by Kaber Vasuki, the 'Killer Killer' lyrical video features new action-packed visuals of Dhanush from Captain Miller, which is scheduled to open in theatres worldwide as a grand Pongal release in January 2024.
The Captain Miller first single 'Killer Killer' has come out amidst massive expectations after Telugu filmmaker Venky Kudumula shared in his review that it was a "mindblowing" track after listening to it during a private music session by GV Prakash back in October. Dhanush's singing range is the first big noticeable aspect in the song as he shifts his range from quiet to bursting out loud on occasions, with GV Prakash's instrumentation work commendable; especially the trumpets that stand out along with the drums. Fans will now be looking forward to witnessing director Arun Matheswaran deliver full justice to the 'Killer Killer' song in the visuals in Captain Miller, while also seeing Dhanush come out on top once again in high-octane action sequences as shown in the glimpse.
The 'Killer Killer' song in Captain Miller also features a few promotional stills of the film's additional cast among whom include Priyanka Arul Mohan, who is cast as the female lead, with Kannada superstar and Jailer fame Dr. Shivarajkumar and Maanagaram star Sundeep Kishan also shown. Some other notable names appearing in key roles in the film are Merku Thodarchi Malai hero Antony, Sillu Karuppatti actress Nivedhithaa Sathish, Thunivu villain John Kokken, and Malayalam actor Moor.
