In what is a surprise treat for 'Thalapathy' Vijay's fans everywhere, a new unseen behind-the-scenes (BTS) video from the Tamil superstar's Beast has been released on Wednesday, November 22. The 2022 action comedy film directed by hit filmmaker Nelson Dilipkumar and featuring music composed by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander went on to become a raging box office success, with the never-before-seen BTS visuals showing Vijay undergoing training for a stunt sequence on rollerblades on the sets, with National Award-winning stunt choreographer duo Anbariv overseeing the action.
The rollerblade fight scene in Beast was one of the big highlights for Vijay's fans despite the film earning mixed reviews. Having said that, the film reportedly shattered several box office records grossing more than 200 crores in worldwide collections at the time, while becoming one of the highest-grossing Tamil ventures of all time. Apart from Beast being noted for its box office success, all three songs in the film composed by Anirudh - 'Arabic Kuthu', 'Jolly O Gymkhana', and 'Beast Mode' - turned out to be chart-topping hits, with appreciation also pouring in for his work in the background score department.
Nelson Dilipkumar's Beast saw 'Thalapathy' Vijay share the screen with youth sensation Pooja Hegde playing the female lead, while the ensemble star cast featured the likes of Selvaraghavan, Shaji Chen, VTV Ganesh, Ankur Vikal, Aparna Das, Sathish Krishnan, Shine Tom Chacko, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Sunil Reddy, Shiva Arvind, Sujatha Babu, Lilliput, Prudhvi Raj, Cell Murugan, Subbalakshmi, Pawan Chopra, among others. Beast revolves around Vijay playing the role of a RAW field agent seeking to rescue people held hostage in a shopping mall by terrorists, with appreciation mainly pouring in for the Tamil superstar's performance, while also showcasing his supremacy at the box office.
