Television serial actress Arthika, best known to audiences for playing the female lead in the hit Tamil serial Karthigai Deepam, has gotten married. The star of the popular Zee Tamil series also shared pictures from the ceremony on social media informing fans about the next big phase in her life writing in the caption, "Best moments of my life" (sic). Arthika's wedding was a close-knit occasion, with reports stating that the groom was her long-time boyfriend. While the groom was dressed in a traditional white shirt and veshti, Arthika looked gorgeous in a blue and pink saree, which she complemented with jewelry.
Several notable names from the Tamil entertainment industry are said to have attended Arthika's wedding ceremony, which was held in Chennai in the presence of family members and close friends. Congratulatory messages and wishes have been pouring in from all quarters, with Kannada actress Shubha Raksha of Home Minister (2022) fame commenting, "Happy married life paythyu 😍❤️" and Peranbu serial actor Vijay Venkatesan writing, "Congratulations 😍♥️ So Happy for u Ma ♥️ Happy Married Life ♥️✨". Arthika also posted pictures of her wedding look taken during her marriage photoshoot.
On the work front, Arthika, a social media influencer, model, and actress, was introduced to Tamil audiences in the smash hit television show, Karthigai Deepam. Cast as the female lead Deepa opposite the star of the series Karthik Raj, the duo shared screen space with Rajesh, Meera Krishna, Vichithra, Madhu Mohan, Tamil Selvi, Janani, Deva, Dinesh Gopalsamy, VJ Reshmaa, Nimesh Sagar, Ayub, Sathya Sudha, Vandhana Michael, Sri Varshan Chinraj, and Riya Choudhary, among others. Karthigai Deepam is an official remake of the Bengali show Krishnakoli and continues to enjoy a strong fan following, completing more than 100 episodes since its premiere on Zee Tamil in late 2022.
