A project that has had fans excited everywhere, 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's Vikram was announced last year and will see the iconic actor joining hands with director Lokesh Kanagraj, who is the current sensation in Tamil cinema. Lokesh, who has often expressed his admiration for Kamal and declaring himself to be a huge fan of the superstar, has been keeping fans updated with various developments from the upcoming venture touted to be an high-octane action thriller. In that light, Lokesh once again took to social media on Friday evening to announce that the Vikram first look will be unveiled on Saturday (July 10) evening at 5 pm.

Taking to Twitter, Lokesh Kanagaraj tweeted, "Vikram first look from tomorrow evening at 5pm #Vikram #arambichitom" along with an emoji of flexed biceps. This latest announcement has come as a massive news for fans, who have been waiting for a new look from the film, which is expected to kick-off production in the days ahead. Kamal Haasan's Vikram has generated massive buzz as the film is being produced under the actor's Raaj Kamal Films International banner, with music by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander.

The expectations and the hype surrounding Vikram are huge considering the film is Kamal Haasan's second major production after his Indian 2, which had to be stalled due to various issues. The enthusiasm for the upcoming Kamal Haasan-starrer is tenfold considering Lokesh Kanagaraj has been riding high with the success of each of his three previous directorials - his debut Maanagaram in 2017, followed by the Karthi-starrer Kaithi in 2019 and the 'Thalapathy' Vijay box office blockbuster Master, which came out earlier this year.

Kamal Haasan's Vikram has considerable talent already on board apart from Lokesh Kanagaraj and Anirudh as Girish Gangadharan of Sarkar fame is handling the cinematography. The film's action, which was teased in the title announcement visuals, will be coordinated by the National Award-winning stunt choreographer duo Anbariv, who are known among fans for delivering thunderous sequences in K. G. F: Chapter 1. Likewise, acclaimed Malayalam actors Fahadh Faasil and Narain too had confirmed that they will be sharing screen space alongside Kamal Haasan in Vikram, with 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi's name too doing the rounds as being included in the film's cast.
