American singer-songwriter Marilyn Manson, who has also appeared in a few notable Hollywood films, surrendered himself to the police authorities in Los Angeles in connection to assault charges he has been facing in the state of New Hampshire. Manson, who had an active arrest warrant against him, surrendered on July 2 for an October 2019 arrest warrant "for acts alleged to have occurred on August 19, 2019, while performing a concert at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, NH." The incident in debate is after the singer allegedly spit on a camerawoman during a concert in 2019 after he first spat everywhere initially.

Manson was issued with two counts of Class A misdemeanor simple assault. The popular shock rocker was later released on personal recognizance bail with conditions levied which included that he does not commit any federal, state or local crime during his release. It has also stipulated that he be present at all court proceedings as ordered. In addition, Manson has also been told to keep the court informed in regard to change of addresses, if any, within 24 hours of doing so, while being ordered to not have any contact with the alleged victim. He has been issued an unspecified court date to make an appearance at the 4th Circuit Court, District Division in Laconia, New Hampshire.

This isn't the only legal trouble Manson is facing as the singer's former assistant filed a lawsuit against him earlier this year. In her lawsuit, she claimed the singer had allegedly put her through psychological and sexual abuse and is one among more than a dozen women have made similar accusations. Game of Thrones actress Esme Bianco too filed a case alleging the singer had constantly abused her, while his exes Evan Rachel Wood and Ashley Morgan Smithline have stepped forward claiming similar allegations, all of which Manson has denied.
