Film aficionados and movie buffs are in complete awe of the recently-released Mammootty and Jyotika film, Kaathal – The Core, which has been showered with spectacular feedback from all quarters. The Malayalam film directed by Jeo Baby of The Great Indian Kitchen (2021) fame and written by the Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria duo has now received praise from National Award-winning Tamil actor Suriya after leading stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and many others spoke highly of the Mammootty and Jyotika-starrer.
Stating that films like Kaathal – The Core happen when beautiful minds come together, Suriya took to Instagram and shared his appreciation for Mammootty calling him an inspiration, and complemented director Jeo Baby for leaving a big impression even in sequences that are silent in the film, while commending his wife Jyotika for showing what love can be with her performance. Earlier, Samantha shared her awe after watching Kaathal – The Core and congratulated the entire team for their performances and work in the technical department, while stating that it will take time for her to come out of the magic she witnessed on the big screen. She wrote on her Instagram story, "Movie of the year. Do yourself a favour and watch this beautiful yet powerful gem of a film. #Kaathalthecore. Mammootty sir you are my hero.
