Tamil actor Robo Shankar's daughter Indraja is set to tie the knot with Karthick soon and wishes have begun pouring in for the young couple ahead of their big day. Having been seen in key roles in 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Bigil (2019) and Karthi's Viruman (2022), th the popular star recently took part in a fans festival event organized by Galatta Media where she spoke about her special bond she shares with her parents, while also opening up on a picture clicked during her engagement ceremony where she was seen kissing her father.

Speaking about the much talked about kiss to her father Robo Shankar, Indraja explained, "That's a special picture. Many people passed comments about this picture, but I'm like that for my father. I used to hug and give him a kiss when I was a child and I do the same now. If you're seeing it wrong, you're wide of the mark. It's not like I'm a person of bad character. My father didn't raise me like that. There's a problem in your eyes. It's better you check with a doctor because your vision is extremely wrong. Your parents have taught you wrong while raising you. This kiss is not wrong. It's as simple as that."

Upon being queried whether the comments coming her way for the picture leave her hurt, Indraja said, "When I put this video out, there was one set of people who shared positive sentiments saying, 'This is a beautiful moment as there's no lust and only the love between a father and his daughter can be seen.' On the other hand, another set of people commented, 'How can do you do such a thing at a public place?' He's my father. That's it. What other definition must I give? I'll be like that to my father. I used to play with him by hugging and kissing him when I was kid. But, if I'm getting married now, should I take a step back? I should stand one step ahead. I'm still a child to him even today."
