Lal Salaam starring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles has been directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth and has Rajinikanth appearing in a big role, with the music composed by Academy Award winner A. R. Rahman.

The Lal Salaam glimpse doesn't waste any time in treating fans to Rajinikanth's action persona and shows him making a fiery entry by thrashing several goons. The new video is an extension of the fight scene that was shown in the film's teaser which was released last month for Diwali and shows him taking on several thugs amidst a factory backdrop. Featuring A. R. Rahman's powerful vocals, the Lal Salaam glimpse ends by showcasing Rajinikanth as Moideen bhai offering his prayers during namaz.

Releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, Lal Salaam is set around cricket and will also feature 1983 World Cup-winning captain and legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev making a cameo appearance alongside Rajinikanth and there has been plenty of excitement surrounding the duo sharing the screen. Apart from Rajinikanth, Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth, and Kapil Dev, the upcoming film also includes a diverse supporting cast featuring the likes of Senthil, Jeevitha, Thambi Ramaiah, K. S. Ravikumar, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Vivek Prasanna, and Thangadurai, among others. Lal Salaam is an important film for Aishwarya Rajinikanth as it marks her big-screen directorial comeback after 3 (2012), Vai Raja Vai (2015), and the documentary Cinema Veeran (2017), and she will be looking to hit the bullseye once again.
