G.V.Prakash's long awaited film, Jail, will finally hit the screens very soon and all the financial problems surrounding the film seems to have been sorted out. Leading film production and distribution house Studio Green has acquired the theatrical distribution rights of Jail, assuring its grand theatrical release. KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green is said to have seen the film recently after which he decided to buy the film. Studio Green is a reputed production banner in Tamil cinema and when the said company comes into the picture, Jail is sure to get more visibility in the trade circle.

GV Prakash expressed his happiness on this development through a tweet in which he wrote, "#Jail update … After #darling and #trishaillananayanthara joining hands with @StudioGreen2 for the Third time .. @StudioGreen2 will be releasing the film #Jail worldwide. #StudioGreenReleasesJail @KrikesC @kegvraja @vasantabalan1 @realradikaa @proyuvraaj @SonyMusicSouth". An official announcement on the exact release date of Jail is yet to be made and further details are awaited.

Jail is expected to be an important film in GV Prakash's career and he will be seen playing a very strong character in this film. Jail is directed by acclaimed filmmaker G Vasanthabalan who is known for making intense emotional films like Veyil and Angadi Theru. Produced by Sridharan Mariathasan under the banner of Krikes Cine Creations, Jail has cinematography by Ganesh Chandra and editing by Raymond Derrick Crasta. GV Prakash has composed the music for this intense emotional drama and the star composer has already delivered two chartbuster hit songs - 'Kaathodu Kaathanen' and 'Pathu Kaasu'.
