November 30 was a day to remember for fans, who got to witness the biggest names in Tamil cinema and entertainment grace the stage at the Galatta Nakshatra Awards 2023. The gala event witnessed several top names in the entertainment industry being honored on the occasion, which also saw the 'Most Loved Couple of the Year - 2023' award being given to Aryan and Shabana Shajahan, who have been a fan-favorite couple among Tamil audiences for a while now. Presented by Mr. Vinodh Ramamurthy, General Manager, Hilton Chennai, Aryan and Shabana received the 'Most Loved Couple of the Year - 2023' award from veteran Tamil actor M. S. Bhaskar at the Galatta Nakshatra Awards 2023.
M. S. Bhaskar, who surprised Aryan and Shabana at the Galatta Nakshatra Awards 2023 with their 'Most Loved Couple of the Year - 2023' award, spoke about how he considers them to be like his own daughter Ishwarya and son-in-law Akhul. During his speech, Shabana, who is best known for playing the female lead in popular Tamil serials Sembaruthi and Mr. Manaivi, turned emotional and broke down in tears, with Aryan seen comforting her. Shabana then reveals that M. S. Bhaskar is the only person whom she refers to as her father after her father. She stated that she's extremely possessive about that distinction since her father had passed away when she was a child and revealed how M. S. Bhaskar would speak to her every day like her father and inquire about her and Aryan.
Speaking at the Galatta Nakshatra Awards 2023, Aryan and Shabana then opened up on their love story for the first time. They revealed that they were good friends in the beginning before love blossomed between the two. Shabana further said, "I was in the mindset of not getting married at the time of meeting him.
