Popular Tamil actor Arjunan, best known for his roles in films Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi (2012), Vaayai Moodi Pesavum (2014), and Idhu Namma Aalu (2016), has been blessed with his third child, a baby boy. The comedy star is already parents to twins - a girl, Iyal, 7, and a boy, Ilan, 7, who are also actors and appeared in Tamil films Leo and Dada, earlier this year. The joyous news was announced on social media by Ilan and Iyal, who also revealed that their baby brother has been named Imayan while sharing an adorable photo.
Tagging their father Arjunan and mother Gayathri, Master Ilan and Baby Iyal posted the picture of their baby brother's feet on Instagram and wrote, "Its a boy baby! And we have named him IMAYAN.. need all ur blessings and love to the little one… இளன் இயல் இமையன் #ilaniyal #imayan" (sic) Congratulatory messages and wishes have been pouring in for Arjunan, Gayathri, Ilan and Iyal, for the new member in their happy family.
Arjunan, who was last seen on the big screen earlier this year in Theerkadarishi starring Sathyaraj and Ajmal, is also known for his appearances in films Kappal (2014), Vanamagan (2017), Tik Tik Tik (2018), Chakra (2021), O2 (2022), and Nitham Oru Vaanam (2022). On the other hand, Ilan kicked off the year on a winning note and won hearts in Kavin and Aparna Das' coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama Dada, while Iyal became the darling of the masses playing 'Thalapathy' Vijay and Trisha's daughter Mathi Parthiban/Chintu in Leo, which has gone on to become one of the highest-grossing films in Tamil cinema history. Fans will also remember Iyal being one of the big star attractions at the Leo success meet in November when she became emotional, with Vijay then rushing to her on the stage and comforting her.
