Chandramukhi 2 is an exciting upcoming film that has Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles. The film is an anticipated sequel to the hit 2005 film starring ‘Superstar' Rajinikanth. The makers of the film have now revealed an exciting new glimpse from the first single, composed by M.M. Keeravani, who recently brought home the prestigious Academy Award for best original song. The glimpse video of the song opens showing a palace, a harp, and a sword. Chandramukhi 2 then shows ornaments used by classical dancers and shows close-up shots of actress Kangana Ranaut in a classical dance costume. The song name is then revealed to be Swagathaanjali. The song that is featured in the video also shows that it will be a classical number with some Telugu lyrics. It could be for the character of Chandramukhi, played by Kangana Ranaut in the film. But, fans would have to wait to hear the full song as the makers have not revealed the release date.
The production house bankrolling the film, Lyca Productions, unveiled the first look of Kangana Ranaut and also revealed the first look of Raghava Lawrence as Vettaiyan Raja. Now, the makers have shared another update about Chandramukhi 2 as a surprise to fans. The film directed by P. Vasu has huge cast that includes ‘Vaigai Puyal’ Vadivelu, popular actress Lakshmi Menon, Cook With Comali fame Shrushti Dange, Saattai fame Mahima Nambiar, Veteran actress Radikaa Sarathkumar, and others in important roles. The film, which has music composed by M.M. Keeravani, is set to release in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, for the festival Vinayagar Chaturthi.
