Two-time National Award-winning Tamil actor Dhanush's 2024 is off to a powerful start as his first big film of the year, Captain Miller, has taken a sensational opening in theatres worldwide. The period action drama directed by Arun Matheswaran of Rocky (2021) and Saani Kaayidham (2022) fame and featuring music composed by National Award winner G. V. Prakash Kumar came out as a grand Pongal treat on January 12 and continues to witness a strong audience turnout in cinemas running to packed houses. With the reviews largely positive and praises being heaped on the performances, screenplay, the making, and the scale, the makers on Saturday, January 20, released the second official Captain Miller sneak peek video featuring Dhanush and Kannada superstar Dr. Shivarajkumar.

The Captain Miller sneak peek video showcases Dhanush as Analeesan aka. Easa contemplating about joining the British Indian Army, with his elder brother played by Shivarajkumar as Sengannan alias Sengolan expressing his displeasure at the decision. We see Dhanush explaining that he's taking such a stance because he sees the British treating him with respect when his own people do not see him as their equal. Shivarajkumar, who plays the role of a freedom fighter in Captain Miller, tries his best to convince why his younger brother is taking a wrong decision, but fails to persuade him into thinking twice before going forward.

This latest Captain Miller sneak peek showcases powerful performances from both Dhanush and Shivarajkumar, who have been garnering immense praise from all quarters. Set in the 1930s during the pre-Independence era, both Dhanush and Shivarajkumar share screen space in Captain Miller with an ensemble star cast starting with Priyanka Arul Mohan, who is playing the female lead, followed by Sundeep Kishan, Aditi Balan, Edward Sonnenblick, Nivedhithaa Sathish, John Kokken, Merku Thodarchi Malai hero Antony, Vinoth Kishan, Alexx O'Nell, Jayaprakash, Bose Venkat, Elango Kumaravel, Viji Chandrasekhar, among others in pivotal roles.
