Two-time National Award-winning Tamil actor Dhanush's latest film Captain Miller is the talk of the town and is doing stellar business at the box office. An official statement by the prestigious Sathya Jyothi Films production banner issued on Tuesday, January 16, on social media informs fans that Captain Miller has registered collections higher on day 4 in comparison to opening day in Tamil Nadu showing that the period action drama is continuing to witness a big jump in the audience turning out to witness Dhanush in action on the big screen. 

This latest statement about the box office collection for Captain Miller has come as a delightful news for fans and marks a big start to the year for the Tamil film industry. The film has been directed by Arun Matheswaran and is his third venture after Rocky (2021) and Saani Kaayidham (2022), with praise pouring in for his deft filmmaking and an engaging screenplay. Captain Miller is yet another feather in Dhanush's cap and appreciation is pouring in from all quarters for delivering yet another memorable and power-packed performance. 

Set in the 1930s during the pre-Independence era, Captain Miller also sees earnest and power-packed performances from the rest of the star cast alongside Dhanush among whom include Priyanka Mohan, who plays the female lead, with Kannada superstar and Jailer fame Dr. Shivarajkumar, Maanagaram star Sundeep Kishan, Merku Thodarchi Malai hero Antony, Sillu Karupatti actress Nivedhithaa Sathish, Thunivu villain John Kokken, and Malayalam actor Moor appearing in key supporting roles. National Award winner G. V. Prakash Kumar is also receiving non-stop compliments for his work with the songs and in the background score department in Captain Miller and is the seventh collaboration for the composer with Dhanush after their previous outings Polladhavan (2007), Aadukalam (2011), Mayakkam Enna (2011), Asuran (2019), Maaran (2022), and Vaathi (2023).
