Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 fame Akshara Reddy penned an emotional statement on Wednesday, November 1, about the passing of her mother, Gowri Sudhakar Reddy, last week. The popular star also shared a glimpse of her late mother's birthday celebrations held a few days back in which she can be seen sitting in a wheelchair. Akshara's mother is revealed to have passed away on Sunday evening, October 29, at 8 p.m. due to a cardiac arrest while undergoing dialysis. Taking to Instagram, Akshara penned emotional words writing, "Nothing can replace you, Mumma... You are the best thing that ever happened to us. Love you, my laddo kutty, you are the best!!" (sic)

Akshara Reddy also conveyed her heartfelt gratitude to all those who offered their condolences, while stating that their support will help in passing through the tough times. She added that she would not be able to stay in touch for some time while informing that she wanted to be alone. Akshara wrote, "I wish to personally thank each and every one of you for the warm messages. This support helps me navigate through the toughest times for my brothers and me. I hope you understand that while I am processing my personal loss, I will not be able to keep in touch with you all. I need to be alone for some time. I hope you all will understand. Thanks." (sic)
