Ashok Selvan was recently seen in the Telugu feel good romantic drama, Ninnila Ninnila, which had its direct digital premiere on Zee Plex. The film, which featured Ritu Varma and Nithya Menen as the female leads, was dubbed and released in Tamil as Theeni and it got fairly good reviews. Following that, it is now time for us to get ready for Ashok Selvan's next outing. A few months before, it was officially announced that Ashok Selvan and Priya Bhavani Shankar would be acting together in a new film and the news excited the film buffs. The film's shooting has now been completed and the makers have unveiled the title look poster.

This new Ashok Selvan - Priya Bhavani Shankar starrer has been titled Hostel and the title look poster looks colourful and vibrant. The poster has a fun vibe and it looks like the film will be an enjoyable drama. Hostel is the official Tamil remake of the Malayalam film Adi Kapyare Kootamani that starred Dhyan Sreenivasan and Namitha Pramod in the lead roles. The title look poster was released by Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi who wished the team for the grand success of the film. Actor Arya and anchor Dhivyadharshini DD also released the title look poster on their respective social media handles. Hostel is directed by Sumanth Radhakrishnan who earlier made Sadhuram 2.

Produced by R Ravindran under the banner of Trident Arts, this film has music scored by Bobo Shashi of Kulir 100 fame. Hostel marks the 8th production venture of Trident Arts production banner. The other important members in the technical team include Praveen Kumar (cinematography), Ragul (editor), G Durairaj (art direction), Pradeep Dinesh (stunt choreography), and others. The shooting of the film was wrapped up yesterday (March 9) and the makers are currently busy with the post production works.

The film is expected to release in theatres during the summer holidays. The film's shoot has been wrapped up at a quick pace and the team will be looking to continuing the momentum until the release, as well. Actor Sathish will be seen in an important role in the film.
