Veteran playback singer, Anuradha Paudwal's son and music director, Aditya Paudwal passed away earlier today (September 12) at a hospital in Mumbai. He was just 35 years old when he breathed his last. According to reports, he was suffering from kidney related problems for the past few months. He reportedly died because of kidney failure. Aditya Paudwal was quite a promising talent and his unexpected demise has taken the music industry by shock. Ace singer Shankar Mahadevan took to his social media page to share his condolence message. He sounded completely shocked and emotional over Aditya Paudwal's death.

He posted a picture of Aditya and wrote, "Devastated hearing this ! Our dearest Aditya Paudwal is no more !! Just can’t believe this ! What an amazing musician and a lovely human being !! I just sang a song which was programmed by him so beautifully two days back ! Just can’t come to terms with this !! Love you brother ... miss you".

For the uninformed, Aditya is the son of veteran singer Anuradha Paudwal who has sung songs in Hindi, Odia, Kannada, Tamil and more. However, she works predominantly in Hindi cinema. Apart from singing for movie songs, Anuradha Paudwal has also crooned for several bhajans and devotional songs which made her reach big among the masses. She is a recipient of the Padma Shri award which is India's fourth highest civilian award. She also won the National Award for her singing in the song, 'He Ek Reshami' from the Marathi film, Kalat Nakalat in 1989.

She has crooned for songs in various notable films like Abhimaan, Udhar Ka Sindur, Janam Janam Na Saath, Amar Shakti, Badaltey Rishtey, Amar Deep, Ek Duuje Ke Liye, Prem Geet, Teesri Aankh, Swapna Sagara, Nagina, Aap Ke Saath, Sansar, Jeete Hain Shaan Se, Dil, Aashiqui, Agneekaal, Baaghi, Saugandh, Kurbaan, Saajan, Sadak, Mr Bond, Junoon, Prateeksha, Sooryavansham, Dil Kya Kare, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, Khoobsurat, Hum Kisi Se Kum Nahin, Jilie, Kasak, Jaane Hoga Kya, and the recent Alia Bhatt starrer Sadak 2. Aditya Paudwal is survived by mother Anuradha Paudwal and sister Kavita Paudwal.
