Vijay Antony celebrated his birthday yesterday (July 24) and wishes poured in from all quarters for the multi-faceted artist. Marking his birthday, the second look poster of his character from the upcoming Tamil film, Agni Siragugal was released last night. Agni Siragugal is an upcoming Tamil action-drama starring Arun Vijay and Vijay Antony in the lead roles and it is directed by Naveen M of Moodar Koodam fame. Vijay Antony will be seen playing the character of Seenu and it is expected to showcase the talented actor in a different dimension. Marking his birthday, the second look poster of his character from the film was released and the poster has grabbed the attention of the netizens.

The poster looks intense and Vijay Antony's makeover is interestingly done. In the poster, he is seen shirtless, smoking a cigarette, looking at a mirror. Both, Vijay Antony and Arun Vijay are said to have performed a few high octane action sequences all by themselves and it is expected to be one of the major highlights of the movie. Akshara Haasan plays the female lead in Agni Siragugal, while Prakash Raj, Nassar, Raima Sen, J Satish Kumar, Sendrayan play pivotal roles. Produced by T Siva under the banner of Amma Creations, the film has music composed by Natarajan Sankaran.

KA Batcha has handled the cinematography of Agni Siragugal, while the editing is done by Ajas Pukkadan and Vetre Krishnan. The shooting of the film has been wrapped up and the makers are currently busy with the post-production works. The film is expected to release in theatres very soon.

Meanwhile, Vijay Antony will be making his debut as a director with the sequel of Pichaikkaran. The official announcement on Vijay Antony turning a director was made yesterday on the occasion of his birthday. The shooting of Pichaikkaran 2 is said to begin in the next few weeks.
