A film that has piqued the interests of Tamil cinema fans from the moment of its announcement, Arun Vijay's next, Borrder, has him teaming up with director Arivazhagan for the second time after their 2017 collaboration, Kuttram 23. Arivazhagan, who has also made Eeram, Vallinam and Aarathu Sinam, is bringing Borrder, which incidentally became the first ever Tamil film to use 3D Mapping technology in order to display its title look last month. With post-production works currently underway on Borrder, new stills from the film were unveiled on Thursday giving fans a fresh look at Arun Vijay alongside Regina Cassandra and Stefy Patel.

Initially reported to have been planned for a theatrical release this month, that has completely changed owing to the second wave of the COVID-19, as the Borrder team will be hopeful to bring it out on the big screen sometime soon. Touted to be an action thriller, the shooting on the film was completed in a span of just 47 days. Borrder has generated plenty of interest among fans considering Arun Vijay has been known to walk the extra mile to make his performance real to the fullest extent, including director Arivazhagan who specializes in strong content-driven films.

Borrder is set to include plenty of high-octane action sequences and will showcase Arun Vijay in a new dimension in the stunt scenes. Produced by Vijaya Raghavendra's All In Pictures with the all India theatrical rights acquired by Dr. Prabhu Thilak's 11:11 Productions, Borrder has music scored by Vikram Vedha and Kaithi composer Sam CS. The film has cinematography by Rajasekar B and editing by Sabu Joseph, with more treats in the form of teaser, trailer, and songs expected to come out in the days ahead.
