The actor Natraj recently gave an exclusive interview to Galatta media through video-conferencing and shared about the late actor-director Manobala. When asked how he feels about the death of the actor, Natraj said "the news was a shock to me, I was in a shooting and came to Chennai only last night. At around 1.30 pm I got the news. It is utterly shocking. He spoke to me 1 and a half months ago and said 'another script is ready natty, so be ready. We must do it'. I said 'we will do it surely sir.' I did not think he would be gone before the project could be done."
When asked about Manobala's conversation with Natraj, he said. “I was an assistant cameraman in his team. That is how I know him.” He then said that he had known Manobala since 1989 and their friendship had continued over time. The actor then reveals director H. Vinoth thought he should play the role ver strongly. So, Manobala had called him, "I was in Bombay and he asked me to come that is how Sathuranga Vettai began". He then said “Manobala sir does not take many things seriously, he takes things lightly and deals struggles with a smiling face." The late actor-director was also a great producer and gave everything he can for the film. He took a loan to produce the film. He would make people happy and does not reveal much about his struggles, said the Natty Natraj. He said 'Manobala appreciates young talents in the industry.' Here's the full interview:
