Yuvan Shankar Raja has been one of the most admired and followed composers in Tamil cinema ever since his entry more than two decades back. Having been a part of a number of box office blockbusters over the years, Yuvan's music has played a significant role in elevating those ventures, with his background score in many projects still being fondly remembered. The swashbuckling music director had ventured into film production in 2018 with Pyaar Prema Kaadhal under his YSR Films banner, while also launching his own music label, U1 Records. 

Now, Yuvan has taken to his social media pages to issue a clarification in regard to his production house and record label's participation in financial transactions. The composer said that he is the only authorized person representing both YSR Films and U1 Records and added that he will not be responsible for any other transaction that does not include his participation. Yuvan shared a note on his social media pages that read, "This is Yuvan Shankar Raja officially announcing, On behalf of my company YSR Private Limited & U1 Records Private Limited and myself I do not authorize or have authorized anyone to receive or enter into any kind of transaction related to money or agreement. If so any kind of transaction does happen or have happened I’m not held responsible on the same. No other person except me is authorized to represent my company YSR Private Limited & U1 Records Private Limited." It is to be noted that Yuvan's YSR Films' upcoming ventures include Vijay Sethupathi's Maamanithan and Raiza Wilson's crime thriller Alice. Check out the statement below: 

On the music front, Yuvan Shankar Raja has a jam-packed 2021 up ahead as he is composing music for a number of biggies that include 'Thala' Ajith's Valimai, Silambarasan TR's Maanaadu, Dhanush's Naane Varuven, Vishal's Chakra, including his Maamanithan. A few other notable films he is a part of are Atharvaa's Kuruthi Aattam, Santhanam's Dikkiloona, Bigg Boss 4 Rio's Plan Panni Pannanum, Harish Kalyan's Star, the Selvaraghavan-Keerthy Suresh starrer Saani Kayitham, Chimbu Deven's Kasada Thabara, the Jiiva and Arulnithi starrer Kalathil Santhippom. and Koozhangal.
