One film that is at the top of the watch-list among cinema fans ever since its announcement is the upcoming Kamal Haasan-starrer Vikram under Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction. Production on the film had begun sometime back, with a shooting spot video also being officially released much to the excitement of fans everywhere. A Raaj Kamal Films International production venture, Vikram will see apart from Kamal Haasan sharing screen space with 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, leading Malayalam hero Fahadh Faasil and Kalidas Jayaram in pivotal roles. In that light, director Lokesh Kanagaraj unveiled a special birthday poster for Fahadh Faasil on Sunday on behalf of the Vikram team and wished him a fantastic year ahead. Check it out below: 

Fahadh Faasil coming on board Vikram has only bolstered the value for the film as the National Award-winning actor enjoys a huge fan following among Tamil cinema lovers considering his performances in Tamil films like Sivakarthikeyan's Velaikkaran and Vijay Sethupathi's Super Deluxe continue to be remembered. Tamil cinema fans have also over the years watched Fahadh's Malayalam films with a lot of passion and expressed their love for his performances in Bangalore Days, Maheshinte Prathikaaram, Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, Kumbalangi Nights, Trance, Joji and most recently, Malik

As known already, only the male star cast has so far been revealed for Vikram and it remains to be seen who will land the role of the female lead in the film, which is speculated to be an intense action thriller. The hype for the film are sky-high considering Lokesh Kanagaraj is directing his film idol Kamal Haasan, with many expecting him to once again deliver the goods as he has done with his previous films namely Maanagaram, Kaithi with Karthi and 'Thalapathy' Vijay's blockbuster Master. Vikram's technical crew includes Anirudh Ravichander for the music, Meyaadha Maan and Aadai director Rathna Kumar for the dialogues, cinematographer Girish Gangadharan, and the National Award-winning stunt choreographer duo Anbariv for the action.
