Thalapathy Vijay's Master has turned out to be one of the biggest hits of this year and it has revived the theatrical business in style. Now, the focus has shifted towards Vijay's next - Thalapathy 65, which is going to be helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila and Doctor fame. The film will be bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures and it is the company's second association with the star hero after Sarkar. The film has music scored by rockstar Anirudh Ravichander and you can be sure about the success of the film's songs and background score. Thalapathy 65 has already got huge expectations among the fans and it is touted to showcase Vijay in a new dimension.

We saw a fresh version of Vijay in Master (due credits to director Lokesh Kanagaraj) and this time, the responsibility has been handed over to Nelson Dilipkumar. The talented filmmaker is currently busy with the post-production works of his second film, Doctor, that stars Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. Doctor is scheduled to release in theatres on March 26 and once the final copy is ready, Nelson will start working on Thalapathy 65 in full swing. The fans are eagerly waiting to know about the other names who are going to be a part of the film and there have been several speculations going around. Having said that, a new addition to the team of Thalapathy 65 has been revealed.

This mega biggie will have cinematography by ace lensman, Manoj Paramahamsa, who is known for his works in movies like Eeram, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Nanban, Enai Noki Paayum Thota, Tughlaq Durbar, and others. The news was officially confirmed by Manoj himself, who took to his official Twitter page to share the news with his followers. Sharing a throwback picture with Vijay from the sets of Nanban, Manoj Paramahamsa wrote, "Excited to start yet another journey with this wonderful human being loved by the entire state and very soon by the entire nation! .... looking forward to work from where we left #nanban kindleing the memory lane #thalapathy65 going to be an pan india affair ! Get ready folks ...".

As Manoj states, this will be his second outing with Vijay after Nanban and this news has excited the fans. The entire social media is abuzz about this surprise confirmation and we are sure that more big names will join in the coming days. Master had a pan-Indian release and it was a big hit in the North Indian states, as well. It looks like Thalapathy 65 will also be one such pan Indian film that will have a grand release across the country.
