'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi has big films lined up ahead, with his Tughlaq Durbar announced for a direct premiere on Sun TV on September 10 at 6.30 p.m. The upcoming political satire marks the directorial debut of Delhi Prasad Deenadayal under Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studios banner, with promotions already being done in a grand manner and expectations for the film to take a huge viewership on the day of its premiere. With the buzz surrounding the film already massive, Sun TV on Tuesday released the much-awaited Tughlaq Durbar official trailer showing new visuals of Vijay Sethupathi's clash with R. Parthiban, with Raashi Khanna and Manjima Mohan appearing as the female leads. 

The Tughlaq Durbar trailer revolves extensively around the politics and political scenario in Tamil Nadu, with the cat and mouse game between Vijay Sethupathi and Parthiban at full display. We can expect plenty of roaring mass moments, including their acting to be a big treat for fans. Tughlaq Durbar is the second time both Vijay Sethupathi and Parthiban are sharing screen space after the duo appeared in 2015 action comedy film, Naanum Rowdydhaan. In Tughlaq Durbar however, the conflict is between them right from the start and the two who have impressed time and again with their skills, will no doubt have churned out yet another big delight. 

Tughlaq Durbar has Vijay Sethupathi paired with Raashi Khanna for the second time after their Sangathamizhan in 2019. Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada heroine Manjima Mohan is said to be playing Vijay Sethupathi's sister, with veteran actor Sathyaraj, Karunakaran, Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 fame Samyuktha Karthik, Bagavathi Perumal, Raj, Risha Jacob among others appearing in pivotal roles. Govind Vasantha, who gave us memorable songs in 96, is the composer of Tughlaq Durbar and his tunes in the film have already garnered a positive response.
