WOW: The Batman - Official Title Logo & First Look Poster Released! Check Out!
Robert Pattinson starrer 'The Batman' has managed to garner huge hype among fans and the team had recently stated that they will resume filming in September in the UK. The shoot of the film, which shut down production in March in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, will go on floors early next month at Warner Bros Studios Leavesden in the UK. The film has approximately three months of material left to shoot and the makers are hoping to wrap the shoot by year-end.
The first look poster of The Batman is set to be launched at the DC FanDome event this Saturday (August 22nd). and the director of the film Matt Reeves has teased the fans by released the title design and an original graphic poster of Batman by DC Comics artist and publisher Jim Lee.
Excited to share the very first look at our official #TheBatman logo, and some very cool additional #DCFanDome artwork by the amazing @jimlee — see more of #TheBatman at the #DCFanDome global event in the Hall of Heroes this Saturday, 8/22! #TheBatman #DCFanDome #ForTheFans pic.twitter.com/ApfngNbyor— Matt Reeves (@mattreevesLA) August 20, 2020
The poster gives a greater look at what Pattinson’s Batman will end up looking like in the movie. Matching the blood-red light of Pattinson’s costume test, the image finds an armoured Batman preparing to descend into Gotham. Set photos from London this past winter showed off a stuntman in the costume.
Matt Reeves, who directed War For and Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, as well as Cloverfield, is presenting a new take on Bruce Wayne for the DC movies, with Robert Pattinson under the cowl. Reports suggest that the film may take influence from The Long Halloween comic - a sort of ‘Year Two’, which finds a young Batman doing some hard detective work to solve a series of holiday-themed murders while wrangling with the Falcone crime family. Zoë Kravitz will be seen as Catwoman, Colin Farrell is playing The Penguin, and Paul Dano is roped in to play The Riddler with Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon.
Earlier this morning, the teaser of the much-anticipated Zack Snyder’s Justice League was released ahead of the trailer being released this weekend at the DC Fandom global event. DC announced that the FanDome digital convention would split into separate events as the “Hall of Heroes” panels on August 22nd which include a first look at The Batman and a Q&A with Reeves, and the second batch of events focused more on comics and TV for later in September.
