Actor - Comedian Vivekh passed away on April 17, following a massive cardiac arrest and his demise came as a big shocker for the people of Tamil Nadu. After being admitted to a private hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest, Vivekh was under ECMO support on ICU and on the early hours of April 17, the doctors declared him dead. Vivekh was 59 years old when he breathed his last. Vivekh is someone who used the medium of cinema to convey important messages. He was also a responsible citizen of the country who planted lakhs of trees across the country. Vivekh's mortal remains was cremated with full state honour and thousands of people came in-person to pay their final respects to the actor.

Notable film personalities like Suriya, Karthi, Jyotika, MS Bhaskar, Sarath Kumar, Pandiyarajan, Keerthy Suresh, Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, Vijay Sethupathi, Samuthirakani, Siddharth, Sasikumar, director Shankar, Chiyaan Vikram, Nassar, Indhuja, Soori, Priya Bhavani Shankar, director Karthik Subbaraj, Shobha Chandrasekhar, Pugazh, and others paid their homage to Vivekh at his house. Having said that, Thalapathy Vijay is said to have visited Vivekh's house, this morning (April 27) to offer his condolences to Vivekh's family. Vijay was unfortunately locked in Georgia during Vivekh's demise.

Vijay was shooting for his next film, Thalapathy 65, at Georgia and the shoot came to an end, a few days before. After returning to Chennai, Vijay made hsi visit to Vivekh's house. The news was shared by Vijay's official PR Manager, who stated, "Thalapathy Vijay paid a vist to late actor Vivek sir's house to convey his heartfelt condolences to the family earlier this morning". The news has created a solid buzz on social media. The pictures from the meeting are yet to be seen. Vivekh and Vijay have acted together in several movies including Nerukku Ner, Kushi, Priyamaanavale, Badri, Shahjahan, Thamizhan, Youth, Thirumalai, Aathi, Kuruvi, and more.

Bigil was the last film in the combination of Vijay and Vivekh. Vijay, on the work front, has teamed up with director Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila fame for his next film, Thalapathy 65. Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures, the film has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander. The film features Pooja Hegde as the female lead, while Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, and Aparna Das are a part of the supporting cast.
