Thalapathy Vijay owns a humongous fan base on social media and his fans have always made sure that they create new records every single time. Having said that, one more massive feat has been achieved. The widely popular ‘Verithanam’ song from Thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil has crossed 100 million views on YouTube and it is the third Vijay song to cross 100 Million views after Aalaporaan Thamizhan (Mersal) and En Jeevan (Theri). Vijay fans are celebrating this unique feat on social media through the hashtag, #VerithanamHits100MViews. Vijay is the first Tamil actor to have 3 video songs that have crossed 100 million views and it is no easy task.

Notably, he is also the only actor to have 10 video songs that have crossed 50 million views on YouTube. This indeed shows the massive reach of Vijay among the fans. There is no doubt that Vijay is one of the best dancers in the country and that is probably one of the major reasons for these video songs to achieve this massive feat. Verithanam, composed by A.R.Rahman and crooned by Thalapathy Vijay himself was a chartbuster hit number even before the film’s (Bigil) release and it turned out to be one of the favourites of the masses.

The song’s lyrics, penned by Vivek, connected with the fans and it had interesting contemporary references. Cinematographer GK Vishnu and director Atlee made the video song a visual treat for the fans as it brought out the charismatic personality of Vijay in the best way possible. Vijay was full of energy and performed the dance moves with ease, due credits to choreographers duo, Shobi and Lalitha Shobi.

Notably, Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film, Master has already got a record number of views on YouTube with just the lyric videos and we will have to wait for the video songs to release for new records to be created. Talking about Master, it is going to be Thalapathy Vijay’s next outing and the film has got huge expectations among the fans and the general audience. This film is believed to showcase Vijay in a completely different dimension and the fans are eagerly waiting for the d-day. Directed by Maanagaram and Kaithi fame Lokesh Kanagaraj, Master has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander. The songs of Master has played a crucial part in keeping the film in constant buzz amidst the pandemic and the unexpected delay in release.
