A film that has turned the tide for theatre owners across Tamil Nadu is 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Master, which hit screens worldwide last month as a grand Pongal release and began streaming on Amazon Prime Video from January 29. The mass masala action entertainer directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is the hit filmmaker's third film after his Maanagaram and Kaithi, with the response from fans to his latest visual treat being largely positive. A factor that has proved to be a success big time in Master has been the inclusion of Anirudh Ravichander, as the hit composer's songs have been at the top of the charts both before and after the film's release.

With the film now out in theatres and on Amazon Prime Video, many fans began requesting for the full Master BGM / OST, which the makers have now officially released. The Master OST features a total of 18 musical tracks from the film, with praises coming towards Anirudh for coming up with scores that fit the narrative properly. Anirudh's powerful score is yet another big plus for Master and the 'Rockstar' has pleased all fans after his Kaththi in 2014, which as well turned out to be a huge success. With the Master BGM released, fans will have plenty to look forward to when the young music director will once again be sitting down to come up with songs and scores that top his earlier works of Vijay for the superstar's Thalapathy 65 under Nelson Dilipkumar's direction being produced by the prestigious Sun Pictures banner.

Coming back to Master, the addition of 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist has proved to be a masterstroke as the actor's chemistry alongside a dynamic Vijay lit up the screens and also brought huge cheer among fans, who continue to speak about their scenes even now after the film's release. Master has also turned out to be a staggering success for theatre owners, with the victory coming at the right time as the theatre business, including the movie-watching experience on the big screen was being discussed widely before the film arrived in cinema halls. Prior to Master's theatrical release, there was a huge talk about the film going for a direct OTT release, which the makers later dismissed saying it would only first hit the big screens. The release of Master has not only invigorated the movie-watching experience for fans, but also revived the business for many theatre owners around Tamil Nadu.
