Owing to the current crisis situation due to Coronavirus outbreak, Vijay has personally transferred an amount of Rs 5000 to his fans, who are needy, through Vijay Charitable Trust. It is said that he got in touch with the heads of his welfare clubs and Vijay Makkal Iyakkam to know about the situation.

The fans who have got the money from Vijay have been sharing screenshots of the confirmation messages sent by the banks and the Twitteratis are abuzz about it. In this way, it is said that Vijay has contributed around 50 lakhs to his fans for them to take care of their families. It can be noted that Vijay had recently donated an amount of Rs 1.3 crores towards Corona Relief Funds. Apart from donating to the Central and State Governments, Vijay also donated money to the governments of Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Pondicherry.

On the professional side, Vijaay will be looking forward for the release of his next film, Master, which will hit the screens when the situation outside, gets better. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by XB Film Creators, Master features Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist and Anirudh Ravichander as the music director.
