Thalapathy Vijay and former Indian cricketing legend MS Dhoni met each other this morning (August 12) in Chennai and the pictures from the meeting have gone viral on social media. This iconic meeting took place this morning at Gokulam Studios in Chennai where Vijay was shooting for his next film, Beast. MS Dhoni, who landed in Chennai recently, shot for an ad commercial at the same studio on a different set. During the shoot break, both of them met and shared a few minutes of conversation. Vijay's personal manager Jagadish shared the pictures from the meeting on his official social media page and the pictures have made the fans delighted. The pictures have stormed the internet already and have taken people by surprise.

It is a rare sight for the audience to witness the two Masters of their respective fields together and this one will be an occasion to remember for years. Dhoni and the Chennai Super Kings team is expected to leave for Dubai in the next few days for the second phase of IPL 2021.

On the other side, Vijay is currently shooting for Beast, his next outing, under the direction of Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila fame. The makers are shooting talkie portions featuring Vijay and other actors in this schedule. Beast, which has got huge expectations among the fans, is touted to be a stylish action entertainer. Director Selvaraghavan will be turning an actor for this film and he is expected to play a negative role in the film. It is going to be super exciting to see Vijay and Selvaraghavan together on the big screen and the fans are in for some solid treat.

Produced by Sun Pictures, the film has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead, while Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, Shine Tom Chacko, and others play supporting roles. Beast is tentatively scheduled to release in theatres for next year's Pongal festival, but an official word on the same is awaited.
