Superstar Rajinikanth's Annaatthe is one of the most expected films of this year and the fans are eagerly looking forward to witnessing the mass action entertainer on the big screen soon. Annaatthe is directed by Siva of Viswasam fame and has music composed by D Imman. The film is produced by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures and when you have Sun Pictures as the production company, you don't have to worry about the film's marketing and promotions. Having said that, the makers have now released a brand new picture from the sets of Annaatthe and it has come as a big surprise for the fans. The picture has already gone viral on social media and has been garnering wide attention.

The candid picture is captured during a conversation between Rajinikanth and director Siva and it is indeed good to see Rajinikanth back in the sets after 4 months. Rajinikanth had taken a break from the shooting in December 2020, due to his health reasons and he left for Hyderabad to resume shoot, only last week. Through this newly released picture, we get to see a glimpse of Rajinikanth's look in the film and he looks super stylish, as always. Annaatthe is expected to showcase Rajinikanth in a newer dimension as it has been quite a long time since we saw the legendary actor in a full fledged rural film. Annaatthe is definitely a super exciting and big film, in terms of the casting as we have several big names part of the cast - Khushbu Sundar, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Soori, Sathish, and others.

As per the reports, it is said that Annaatthe's story revolves around the emotional relationship between a brother and a sister. Keerthy Suresh will be seen as Rajinikanth's younger sister in the film and she is said to have got a very interesting character to perform. Annaatthe is scheduled to have a grand release in theatres across the country on November 4, 2021, for the festive occasion of Diwali.
