Actress Richa Gangopadhyay acted in just two Tamil films, but both of them gave her a massive reach among the audience. She made a striking debut with Dhanush's Mayakkam Enna, directed by Selvaraghavan. Richa's performance as Yamini won laurels and it is easily one of the most loved characters in Tamil cinema. Later, she acted as STR's love interest in the action drama, Osthe, directed by Dharani. She was active between 2010 and 2013 and acted in Telugu and Tamil films. In 2013, she quit films and moved to USA to pursue her MBA. She met the love of her life, Joe Langella during this period. After being in a relationship for a few years, the couple got married on September 14, 2019 and their wedding pictures went viral on social media.

Richa and Joe are celebrating their first year wedding anniversary today and wishes have been pouring in from all quarters. Richa penned an emotional note, dedicated to her husband Joe Langella and the post has gone viral. Sharing the wedding pictures, Richa wrote, "From the moment I met you, I knew that I had found a new kind of happiness I only thought existed in fairytales. On this day, one year ago, we promised our commitment to each other in a beautiful American ceremony (part 1 of wedding weekend!), surrounded by our friends and family. It seems like just yesterday that we were standing across from each other, exchanging vows. Since that day, your actions keep reminding me that I’ve never made a better choice in my life.💍💒

I’m the luckiest wife in this world to be blessed with such a loving, compassionate, strong and honest man to call my own. One year of marriage has taught me that love is not only about happy times, but overcoming obstacles, facing challenges, fighting to be together, holding on and never letting go. It’s about being on the same team and supporting one another through everything life throws at us (including a covid-wildfire world!). I couldn’t have dreamt of a better life partner and love you more with each passing day.🥰🤗

Thank you for the best years of my life so far, choosing me to spend your life with, and for just being YOU. Our first year is just a trailer of what’s to come and I can’t wait for what’s next. One year down, forever to go. ❤️✨ #marriedmybestfriend #happyanniversary".
